This is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity that offers a pay rate of $18.00 per hour, and has a 1st shift schedule (8:15am- 5:00pm). The Administrative Assistant/ Receptionist will be the first point of contact for clients, visitors and callers. Duties will also include handling the front desk taking all incoming calls and greeting all clients. Ideal candidates for this role should be detail-oriented, enjoys working with people, and have excellent communication and customer service skills. – Greets clients, visitors, and callers in a professional and courteous manner
– Provides general information to clients regarding legal services offered by the firm
– Answers, screens, and forwards incoming phone calls while maintaining a high level of professionalism
– Receives, sorts, and distributes incoming mail, faxes and courier deliveries
– Manages the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable
– Schedules rooms for use by internal and outside groups
– Assists in ordering, receiving and stocking office supplies
– Reviews and prepares documents for entry of information into electronic data processing system
– Creates, maintains and updates client contact information and files
– Composes routine correspondence
– Handles a variety of administrative tasks and provides general support to attorneys and staffQualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar customer service role
– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
– Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
– Proficient with computers, fax machines, postage meters, copiers and scanners
– Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
