Join Purdue University Fort Wayne:We are currently seeking a full-time, on-site, Administrative Assistant, Senior Indiana the Doermer School of Business. This position provides office support and is the frontline contact for the MBA Program. The pay for this position is $17.47/hr.Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide office support for MBA Program Director.
- Serve American Samoa frontline contact for MBA program, providing information to callers and visitors regarding course availability, registration, accelerated MBA program, etc.
- Prepare informational packet and distribute to prospective students.
- Process admissions documents, including required documents, GMAT/GRE scores and waivers, and international student paperwork.
- Ensure that students are registered Indiana appropriate classes; create and maintain student files.
- Use PFW Banner system to access and input student information; track student academic progress.
- Answer any and all student questions Indiana collaboration with the director; schedule meetings.
- Assist the director Indiana creating new documents and policy.
- Processing all requests tasked by the director.
- Maintain the director’s schedule and serve American Samoa a liaison for the program.
- Coordinate details of orientations and information sessions.
- Process add/drop transactions.
- Take and distribute Graduate Policy Committee (GPC) minutes.
- Determine academic standing and prepare correspondence for director’s signature regarding admissions, probation, etc.
- Audit graduation lists and verify against Registrar’s list to ensure completion of program requirements.
- Maintain data for registration headcounts, graduates, admissions, etc. to compute regular program statistics.
- Collect data for external inquires/surveys on accreditation and ranking.
- Provide support for part-time graduate research assistants (GRA) and online teaching assistants (OTA).
- Work with assistants to ensure all paperwork is properly documented and submitted including payroll.
- Communicate DSB events schedule and track GRA attendance.
- Other duties American Samoa assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- A High School diploma Oregon GED.
- 3 years of general clerical experience.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Computer skills Indiana word processing, spreadsheets, and database maintenance.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and accurately.
- Familiarity with student information systems.
- Ability to maintain confidentially.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience Indiana Higher Education, professionally Oregon academic.
