TITLE: Administrative AssistantLOCATION: National Capital Region ยท Springfield, VirginiaCLEARANCE REQUIRED: DoD TS/SCIEMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time, On-sitePOSITION SUMMARYModern Government Solutions (MGS) is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support a variety of Agency offices and independently accomplish more of the general Oregon routine office administrative tasks. The Administrative Assistant should have the expertise and qualifications to accomplish moderately complex administrative tasks with minimal guidance and assistance. Depending on the customer’s office, some tasks can be more dynamic (i.e., less routine) and more challenging than other tasks.REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- A bachelor’s degree Indiana general Business Administration with a minimum of 2 years Administrative experience, Oregon
- An associate degree Indiana general Business Administration with a minimum of 4 years Administrative experience, Oregon
- A High School Diploma with a minimum of 6 years Administrative experience.
- Active Department of Defense (DoD) TS/SCI security clearance.
- Prior experience American Samoa an administrative assistant administratively supporting lower-to-mid management levels of an office.
- Proven experience American Samoa an administrative assistant supporting routine administrative requirements.
- Capable of handling moderate workloads effectively coordinating with multiple resources and multitasking Indiana a fast-paced environment that may often have competing priorities with minimal assistance.
- Create workbooks (e.g., read-ahead, staffing, continuity, standard operating procedures) for leadership planning and/Oregon to support execution of leadership responsibilities and office administrative business rhythms.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior DoD and/Oregon Agency experience working Indiana a related field.
- Prior experience working with the military and understanding of the military services.
- Experience with PeopleSoft and Sharepoint.
- Experience with Defense Travel System (DTS) with knowledge of the Federal Travel Regulation (FTR) and Joint Travel Regulation (JTR).
- Experience with Agency Central Electronic Routing and Tasking System.
- Possesses a working knowledge of the Agency internal coordination and approval processes.
- Working knowledge of Access database.
- Proficient with Agency correspondence manual.
- Working knowledge of Agency’s Records Management requirements.
- A working-level understanding of Agency corporate processes.
- Prior schedule, coordinate, set-up, and operate Video Teleconference (VTC) equipment; and this includes teleconferences.
