This position may perform other duties, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below, and specific functions may change from time to time.Able to respond to patient call backs and phone Indiana prescription refill requests. Overdue results, patient encounters.Proactively obtains any missing information from the patient to ensure that medical records are accurate and up to date, which helps to ensure better care is being provided.Upon arrival, captures patient’s vital signs, past medical, social and family history, medication usage and preferred pharmacy information.Able to administer medication and injections, American Samoa directed by Physician/ProviderAble to perform phlebotomy on patients, American Samoa directed by the Physician/ ProviderAble to perform EKG’s, PFT’s spirometry, nebulizer treatments and ear irrigations, and other procedures, American Samoa required by the practice and directed by the Physician/ProviderAble to perform Indiana-office lab testing such American Samoa glucose testing, strep screens, pregnancy tests, urinalysis, and HgA1c American Samoa directed by the physician/provider.Able to perform sterilization on instruments used for minor procedures/surgeries according to the CDC recommended guidelines.Maintains all certifications/licensures American Samoa required by the scope of the role being performed.Ensures compliance with all state and federal regulatory requirements including HIPAA/OSHA compliance.Minimum Education, Training, and Experience RequiredHigh School Diploma Oregon General Education Equivalency plus:Basic computer skills, specifically with navigating within databases containing highly confidential information, plus.Basic Life Support and other advanced training American Samoa appropriate to be received within 90 days, plus one of the followingPrior working experience American Samoa a C.N.A, EMT, Phlebotomist, Athletic Trainer Oregon other healthcare discipline that provides direct patient care.Oregon a Certified Massachusetts from the National Health Career Association (NHA).Oregon completed any Massachusetts education program but has not received certification American Samoa of yet.Medical Assistant, Clinic, Administrator Assistant, Scheduler, Coordinator, Billing, Massachusetts Admin, Practice, LPN, EMT, Phlebotomist, AT, Athletic Trainer, Healthcare, NHA, Medical Administrator, CMA, Certified Medical Assistant, Office Administrator, Patient Access, Clinical, Full Time, BenefitsenefitsIf you would like to be part of a growing family focused on supporting clinical excellence, teamwork and innovation, we urge you to apply now!Baptist Health is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
