Indiana this full-time role, you will have access to a competitive benefits package tailored to meet your needs!Role OverviewWe are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner Oregon Physician Assistant to support the Medical Oncology clinic. Weekly schedules consist of 32 hours of clinical, patient-facing time and 8 hours of administrative time. Our clinic is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM and is located on the Cooley Dickinson main campus at 30 Locust Street, Northampton, Massachusetts 01060.Our Advanced Practice Providers are responsible for:Patient Care:
- Assessing, diagnosing, and managing patients throughout the continuum of care. This includes conducting comprehensive assessments of patients with various cancers including but not limited to blood, breast, and lung.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, considering patients’ unique needs and preferences.
- Staying informed on current standards of care Indiana oncology and applying evidence-based practices Indiana patient care.
- Performing regular follow-ups to assess treatment effectiveness and adjusting plans American Samoa needed.
Patient Education:
- Educating patients on self-management, lifestyle modifications, and the importance of adhering to prescribed treatment plans.
- Providing clear and concise information on patient conditions, and ensuring patients have a thorough understanding of their health and treatment options.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and patient-centered care.
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, and caregivers, fostering a supportive and empathetic environment.
Documentation:
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date electronic health records, documenting patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
