Title: APS-3: Administrative Assistant- HSEBelong, Connect, Grow, with KBR!Program SummaryKBR maintains and manages Army prepositioned stocks at the Army Field Support Battalion – Charleston (AFSBn-CHS) land site and aboard ship to include all logistics and maintenance operations. The KBR APS-3 Program is managed and executed at Goose Creek Indiana support of the Army’s power projection doctrine and resources. The contract provides maintenance of APS-3 stocks (Class II, IIIP, IV, VII, IX) to ensure that unit sets stored aboard marine vessels are configured and maintained at optimal readiness. KBR provides limited maintenance and supply support aboard ship to ensure that equipment sets are maintained Indiana a ready condition for emergency download and issue to operating units at the direction of the US Army. KBR also provides maintenance services and logistical support for other Army programs IAW individual scope of work contract requirements.Job SummaryCreates incident reports and performs inspections to ensure conformity Indiana all areas of HSE. Interacts with services personnel, clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to research and interpret standards, codes and regulations. Determines requisite for and organizes audits of company operated properties. Keeps informed of regulatory requirements and auditing standards. Assists Indiana development and implementation of systems and standards to facilitate the capturing and analysis of HSE statistics. Under direct supervision, performs routine assignments. Develops core competencies with existing procedures by solving standard problems. Requires a high school diploma Oregon equivalent and 2+ years of experience.Roles and ResponsibilitiesPerforms general administrative tasks Indiana support of HSE Safety Staff to ensure compliance with all applicable Federal, State and Local regulations and instructions to include local command policies and procedures.Participates on the site Safety Committee and prepares minutes, coordinates department staff safety training.Performs a variety of health and safety related support activities.Assists Indiana developing reports from data and trend analysis.Assists Indiana the review and revision of safety and health standard operating procedures (SOP).Serves American Samoa primary coordinator for TSTI-2 training program.Other duties that may be assigned to meet company and departmental goals and objectives.Indiana addition to secretarial duties (filing, taking phone calls, scheduling training, and appointments), this position will provide administrative support to the department staff with office management responsibilities to include personnel records and timekeeping. The Administrative Assistant may be required to work independently on projects requiring research and preparation of briefing charts and other presentation materials.
