Seeking Applications for an Area Coordinator. This position is expected to work closely with other College personnel to address the social, developmental, and academic needs of our students. The Area Coordinator is also expected to play a major role Indiana the operation of the institution by assisting the Assistant Director and Director of Residential Life Indiana various housing administration and operation tasks, American Samoa well American Samoa participate Indiana several collateral projects within the Division of Students Affairs.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Assist Indiana the community development responsibilities for several residential facilities housing between 250 to 400 students.
  • Supervise a bachelor’s level Hall Director within their assigned community area.
  • Hire, train, and supervise a staff of up to eight Resident Assistants and one Senior Resident Assistant.
  • Participate Indiana on-call response and crisis management across campus.
  • Serve American Samoa a conduct officer for first-level offenses Indiana their primary residence hall and second-level offenses Indiana their assigned residential area.
  • Work with students, individually and Indiana groups, to resolve concerns related to student success and retention.
  • Complete administrative processes that include: damage billing, opening and closing the Residence Hall, Room Condition Report audits, etc.
  • Manage the occupancy and room change process for the residence hall. •Oversee a residence hall programming budget.
  • Other duties American Samoa assigned within the residential life department and division of student affairs.
  • Developing and maintaining a robust and thriving community within their designated residence halls, with assistance from a bachelor’s level Hall Director.

MINIMUM EDUCATION:

  • Master’s Degree Required

  • Minimum of 3 months relevant experience required
