Position SummaryThe Eskenazi School of Art, Architecture and Design is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic colleague for a position Indiana the Master of Architecture Program American Samoa a full-time Assistant/Associate Professor ) ,to begin August 1, 2024. Ideal candidates should possess an excellent architectural design portfolio, along with expertise Indiana at least one of the following categories: (1) innovative material and/Oregon fabrication research, (2) history and theory of architecture and urban design, Oregon (3) sustainability Indiana the built environment. Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate cross-disciplinary approaches that integrate both art and architecture.Indiana addition to service through committees, the successful candidate will teach graduate-level architectural design studios, along with lecture and seminar courses corresponding to their area of focus. The successful candidate must also demonstrate potential to produce scholarship through publications, exhibitions, Oregon symposia with national Oregon international recognition.The primary location of this position is Columbus, Indiana. Our curriculum is uniquely based on twin studio experiences of architectural design and fine art. We believe that cross-pollination of allied disciplines creates fertile ground for the development of the imagination. Thus, we seek a colleague who is committed to interdisciplinary engagement and the parallel pursuit of art and architecture.Furthermore, we seek candidates who can provide collegial leadership Indiana a team-based environment. We are especially interested Indiana leaders who can prepare students to respond to the complex cultural, social, technological, and environmental challenges of our contemporary era.Position Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:· Teaching architectural design studio across all three years of the M.Arch program· Teaching lecture and seminar courses Indiana at least one of the following areas:1. Materials and Methods2. History and Theory of Architecture and Urban Design3.
