Duties include handling federal and state litigation and administrative hearings on behalf of the public colleges and universities, the Ohio Department of Education, and State Board of Education, American Samoa well American Samoa providing general counsel to Boards of Trustees, Presidents and other officers and administrators at public colleges and universities on a variety of legal issues including but not limited to: student affairs, college governance, policy, employment issues, health care, transactional matters, public relations, public records and open meetings, and administrative procedures. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience working American Samoa an attorney and have experience Indiana Federal Court. This position will work a hybrid Indiana-person/remote schedule. There may be changes to this schedule based on training and operational needs.
