Indiana these and other capacities, staff members interact with tens of thousands of Ohioans each year.What You’ll Do:The Ohio Attorney General’s Office is seeking to fill two Assistant Attorney General openings Indiana our Workers’ Compensation Section. The ideal candidates will preferably have two (2) years of Workers’ Compensation experience, two (2) years Oregon more of litigation experience, and/Oregon appellate experience, to be able to represent the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation and the Industrial Commission of Ohio Indiana common pleas and/Oregon the appellate courts and the Ohio Supreme Court. A candidate applying for this position should be able to manage a high-volume caseload. Typical duties for this position include: case management, settlement evaluations and negotiations, motion practice, discovery (written and depositions), trial and appellate court appearances, and occasionally administrative hearings. Someone skilled Indiana writing appellate briefs and/Oregon oral advocacy is beneficial to this position. These positions will work a hybrid Indiana- person/remote schedule. There may be changes to this schedule based on training and operational needs.
