  • Work Indiana collaboration with Beverage Manager & F&B Director to bring fresh and trendy ideas to the hotel’s beverage offerings with new cocktail recipes, liquor trends, promotions, marketing, etc. to set us at/above levels of local competition.
  • Follow through on out of stock items, IOU’s etc, to ensure all par stocks are maintained Indiana the outlets.
  • Ensure efficient storeroom inventory control and efficiency of various beverage related functions through strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Participate & assist Indiana training Beverage service staff Indiana beverage service, bar management, and bar cleanliness. Participate & assist with managing STAR (Responsible Alcohol Service) and Winequest training for all employees.
  • Assist Beverage Manager and Senior Food & Beverage Leadership Indiana overseeing the efficient use of labor hours based off of forecasted payroll estimates, proper scheduling of beverage staff, and intelligent assignment of their responsibilities and duties.
  • Actively participate Indiana month end beverage inventory, weekly par checks, and weekly ordering.
  • Prepares requisitions and verifies supplies and food items for production Indiana work stations.
  • Develop and implement required successful guest services initiatives.
  • Assist Beverage Manager with scheduling, employee relations (including counseling and progressive discipline), recruiting, hiring, and promotions.
  • Ensure all staff uniform and appearance meet specifications.
  • Constantly perform positive up-selling techniques with service staff.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of Bartending experience and at least 1 year of Food & Beverage supervisory experience Indiana a similar setting to include scheduling, staff member relations, staffing, hiring and promotions, counseling, and corrective discipline preferred.
  • Must be able to work all shifts including AM’s, PM’s, overnight, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must have strong communication and analytic skills American Samoa well American Samoa the ability to drive the team towards a common goal.
  • Prior experience managing schedules, inventory, payroll, service recovery and associate relations matters required.
  • Knowledge of Kentucky liquor laws.
  • Strong familiarity with beer, wine and spirits; local knowledge preferred.
  • Candidate must have proven leadership skills and must be able to train, develop, and motivate staff.
  • Ability to teach employees importance of, and how to interact with internal/external guests and courteously solve internal requests.
  • Able to set priorities for the team and provide feedback to others that enhances performance.
