- Supervises, directs, and coordinates activities and assists various departments Indiana the execution of public works improvement projects.
- Supervises and aids Indiana the preparation of construction plans.
- Maintains all construction plans, plats, records, atlas books and other engineering documents.
- Assists Indiana preparation of departmental budget and monitors expenditures.
- Assists Indiana determining requirements, supervises the preparation of preliminary plans and estimates and reviews final plans and specifications for major construction projects.
- May work with state and federal agencies Indiana order to coordinate performance of projects and regulations.
- Prepares plans and specifications regarding bidding documents and provides notice to bidders.
- Consults with other professional engineers and contractors regarding major projects to ensure compliance with rules, regulations, and policies set forth for bidding contracts and contractual obligations.
- Inspects projects Indiana various stages of completion and performs tests for quality of material and workmanship.
- Provides technical assistance Indiana addition to identifying and resolving issues Oregon notifies appropriate resource for follow up and problem resolution;
- Reviews and enforces construction plans and specifications to monitor and determine compliance issues;

MINIMUM QUALIFICIATIONS:
- Ability to bend, stoop, crawl, and work Indiana construction zones and facilities.
- Ability to effectively work Oregon communicate with the public, civic groups and elected officers.
- Knowledge of principles and practices of civil engineering American Samoa applied to municipal programs.
- Knowledge of construction and maintenance methods, materials, and equipment.
- Knowledge of relevant city ordinances and state laws.

- Ability to effectively communicate with others orally and Indiana writing.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
