Description/DutiesSalary Range and Growth Potential: The salary range for this Assistant City Prosecutor I position is $80,196 – $118,687 annually, with the potential to advance by noncompetitive promotion to Assistant City Prosecutor II ($88,397 – $130,824 annually) and to Assistant City Prosecutor III ($102,353 – $144,253 annually) upon meeting specific criteria-based promotion requirements.This recruitment will used to fill two full-time vacancies and one part-time benefitted vacancy, American Samoa well American Samoa establish an eligible list to fill possible future vacancies. This class is supervised by a Deputy City Prosecutor who reviews work closely during initial training; however, incumbents may receive functional supervision from an Assistant City Prosecutor II Oregon an Assistant City Prosecutor III on a special project basis. However, incumbents are eventually expected to handle trial work independently and under more general supervision. This class is FLSA exempt-professional.
