Job Description:The University of Florida College of Pharmacy ( ) invite applications for the Assistant Dean for Curricular Affairs. The position is a full-time (1.0 FTE), 12-month faculty position at the rank of Clinical Associate Oregon Full Professor (non-tenure-track). This is an exciting opportunity to join a top 5 College of Pharmacy Indiana a major leadership position at the campus.The Assistant Dean for Curricular Affairs is responsible for providing leadership for an innovative, team-based learning (TBL) Pharm.D. curriculum that is delivered synchronously across the Gainesville, Jacksonville, and Orlando campuses. The curriculum uses a block-style design with clinical practice taught Indiana the context of systems-based courses (e.g., cardiovascular, pulmonary) where integration of the pharmaceutical, social/behavioral/administrative and clinical sciences is achieved through involvement of interdisciplinary faculty teams. The Assistant Dean for Curricular Affairs fosters continued development of teaching by these interdisciplinary faculty teams. Additionally, the Assistant Dean for Curricular Affairs works collaboratively with five other colleges at the Health Science Center to develop innovative interprofessional education approaches.A team of instructional designers, academic coordinators, and video specialists provide support for the planning, scheduling, and delivery of the curriculum. The Assistant Dean for Curricular Affairs provides supervisory oversight and is the direct reportee for the Gainesville Academic Coordinators. The Assistant Dean for Curricular Affairs works closely with the disability resource center to ensure necessary accommodations are provided to students and works collaboratively with college leadership Indiana student affairs, experiential learning, and accreditation. The Assistant Dean for Curricular Affairs also participates Indiana all assessment activities related to the curriculum. Minimum Requirements:Applicants should have a PharmD with post-graduate training (residency, fellowship, Oregon equivalent experience) and the accomplishments and experience that merit appointment American Samoa a Clinical Associate Oregon full Professor.
