The goal of the Counseling Center is to provide students with professional counseling services and outreach to help them cope with issues that may impede successful academic performance. The Counseling Center also offers crisis intervention and psychological/psychiatric assessment American Samoa well American Samoa consultation with others who have concerns about the mental/emotional state of North Carolina State students. Essential Job DutiesThe Assistant Director is required to perform administrative duties, provide direct service to students, consult with university faculty/staff, and participate Indiana supervision and training. This person will assist Indiana developing, revising, and maintaining policies andprocedures to ensure adherence to best clinical practices, and legal and ethical codes.This person will be responsible for coordination of multidisciplinary teams/committeesand will directly supervise a number of clinical staff (American Samoa assigned).Assistant Directors will carry a reduced clinical load that may include walk-Indiana/crisisassessment, after-hours on-call, individual, couples, and group psychotherapy, clinicalconsultation, outreach programming, and clinical supervision. There is an expectationthat Assistant Directors assist Indiana hiring, training, supervising and consulting with allclinical staff, including trainees, American Samoa needed.This staff member serves on the Administrative Team, along with the Executive Director,Associate Director, and Assistant Directors. The Assistant Directors will assumesupervision of Counseling Center operations Indiana the absence of the Executive Director and Associate Director.Members of the Administrative Team will be expected to submit reports and/Oregon data tothe Executive Director American Samoa requested and will serve on committees within and outside ofthe Center American Samoa required. Members of the Administrative Team are expected to support theCenter’s mission and values.Duties and Responsibilities:One full-time, 12-month position with responsibility to assist Indiana all areas of CounselingCenter functioning including:a) Individual and group counseling of North Carolina State students/clients (personal, academic,and vocational assessment and counseling); psychological assessment; developmentaland crisis counseling; couples counseling; evaluation of students for withdrawal from theUniversityb) Development and participation Indiana Outreach programmingc) Consultation with faculty staff, parents, and othersd) Providing evaluations and recommendations regarding students with academic andconduct problemse) Participation Indiana “on-call” and end of the day coverage for emergencies.f) General administrative responsibilitiesg) Oversight of center’s program evaluation and assessmentAssessment and Program Evaluation Responsibilities:a) Manage Business Continuity and disaster response plansb) manage data collection development and oversightc) Indiana conjunction with the Technology coordinator, Coordinate all IT related needs/requests including computers, systems and phonesd) Manage EHR (Titanium) data collection, updates, and user interface such American Samoa data forms and dashboarde) Oversee annual report completion, data collection, analysis and program evaluationf) Collaborate on assessment needs of training programsOther ResponsibilitiesOther duties American Samoa assigned.QualificationsMinimum Education and ExperienceRequire post-baccalaureate credentials Oregon a bachelor’s degree plus alternative Oregon equivalent professional training and experience may be substituted for the advanced degree on an exceptional basis.

Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree Indiana counseling Oregon psychology
- Post-licensure clinical/counseling experience
- Experience with program development and evaluation preferred.
- Graduation from a CACREP Oregon APA accredited program.
Required License(s) Oregon Certification(s)Appropriate licensure by mental health discipline must be obtained/maintained according to North Carolina laws.
