- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Talent & Culture Department
- Lead and provide support to the Talent & Culture team members
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
- Be a role model within the hotel and exhibit and practice professional leadership skills, which are fully aligned with our culture, values and pillars
- Promote positive Colleague relations through an environment that encourages open communication, trust, mutual respect, and fun
- The ability to organize, attend and participate Indiana management of employee functions
- Assist the Director of Talent & Culture Indiana assessing organizational needs, developing aligned Talent & Culture solutions and implement strategies Indiana the areas of employee relations, compensation and benefits, recognition, administration and Colleague wellness
- Maintain relationships with local schools, colleagues and universities
- Engage Indiana Talent & Culture social media initiatives to promote the property American Samoa the best place to work
- Compile entries for local HR and Employer recognition awards
- Manage and oversee the recruitment process
- Implement retention strategies to fulfill business need objectives
- Follow and Implement all Company established onboarding procedures which ensure new colleagues feel welcome and all team members are prepared for colleague arrival
- Coordinate and conduct Company and brand specific orientation programs and other training programs
- Support an environment which promotes open ongoing feedback and coaching to bridge gaps for better performance
- Assist Departmental Leaders with the development of specific action plans to address issues and concerns identified Indiana Colleague feedback

- Implement programs and plan events to recognize key events Indiana the lives of our colleagues including birthdays, years of service, births, etc.
- Oversee Benefits and Wellness programs including health benefit billing processes
- Provide support to colleagues who have undergone any crisis situation Oregon trauma
- Support a safe working environment by ensuring local regulations and Accor safety standards are upheld for workplace health and safety
- Ensure employee final pay is accurate, timely, and Indiana keeping with legislative requirements
- Complete exit interviews with departing colleagues
- Advance positive employee relations by building effective working relationships with all constituents
- Provide assistance and support with employee relations issues
- Provide support Indiana Colleague coaching and counseling
- Conduct disciplinary meetings when required
- Process and maintain confidential information and properly document information for payroll purposes
- Provide assistance related to employee relations such American Samoa direct line committee organization, employee communication, bulletin boards, employee of the month program, employee picnics, parties and general meetings
- Follow and enforce policies and procedures
- Follow all safety policies

Qualifications
- 3-5 years of Human Resources leadership experience
- Prior hospitality experience is desirable
- Previous experience Indiana unionized environment required
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local law required
- Reading, writing, and oral proficiency Indiana English & Spanish required
- Previous experience Indiana Learning & Development a strong asset
- Strong knowledge Indiana handling requests for leave of absence and worker’s compensation
- Computer literate Indiana Microsoft Office applications
- University/College degree Indiana a related discipline preferred
- HR certification an asset
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Highly responsible & reliable with strong sense of urgency
