Assistant Project ManagerThe Project Engineer will assist Project Manager and field staff Indiana daily job management tasks, including workflow, manpower and scheduling of the assigned project, and assist with tasks related to the workflow of the assigned project.RESPONSIBILITIESAdvise Project Manager of potential problems, work interferences, and schedule difficulties. Assist Indiana circumventing/resolving such problems, American Samoa assigned.Perform estimating assignments American Samoa required.Assist with Oregon update construction forecast to reflect most accurate/current cost and estimate information.Assist with analyzing work progress and developing craft productivity reports to document cost/budget activity.Calculate/prepare various comparison reports, charts, and tables for project analysis.Assist Indiana preparing special reports, studies, etc. requested by the client and/Oregon project management.Assist Indiana management and issuance of subcontracts.Assist with material procurement and coordination.Oversee and/Oregon process day-to-day administrative items, American Samoa required.May provide supervision and/Oregon on-the-job training to clerical Oregon entry professional personnel assigned to area of responsibility.Collaborates with project staff to create a strategic action plan and cost estimates of materials, time labor, and other resources required to complete the project.Contributes to the development of project plans and designs.Recommends and/Oregon analyzes materials, equipment, and practices used Indiana the project.Compares the actual cost of project to estimates.Collaborates with Project Manager to identify and troubleshoot problems.Performs other related duties American Samoa assigned.The job description and responsibilities described are intended to provide guidelines for job expectations and the employee’s ability to perform the position described.
