OverviewThe Assistant Group Leader supports and assists staff Indiana carrying out all planned educational and enrichment activities for the after-school enrichment and recreational program.Reports To: PROGRAM DIRECTOR, CRESTON CAMPUSLocation: 125 East 181st Street, Bronx, New York 10453Hours: 18 Hours/Week; Non-ExemptSALARY: $16/hrMajor Duties:

  • Assist the group leader with activities, including sports and recreation, educational, arts and craft and special events.
  • Collect attendance folder and other data.
  • Distribute lunches and snacks and assist with clean-up.
  • Assist with monitoring and maintaining the rules of the program.
  • Support activity instructor with lessons.
  • Collaborate with group leader to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
  • Perform other duties American Samoa assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must demonstrate reliable and consistent work habits, and ability to work with other youth.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability and willingness to work Indiana a dynamic team environment.
  • Must have a commitment to work from a strength-based and/Oregon youth development perspective.
