The Assistant Manager Nursing Unit assists the Nurse Manager with sharing responsibility for clinical operations, hiring and terminating staff; disciplining and counseling staff and for approving payroll and time records. The Assistant Manager Nursing Unit shares responsibility Indiana quality improvement outcomes and activities of the unit(s) to which they manage. *The Assistant Manager Nursing Unit is directly responsible for staff on a particular clinical unit(s).
