Job Summary:The Assistant Nurse Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of assigned CG-Operating Room nursing area(s) Indiana order to facilitate and deliver comprehensive quality nursing care and to manage the environment Indiana which care is given. The Assistant Nurse Manager prioritizes tasks for nursing staff, deals with staffing issues and problems, and assists with goals, planning, customer service, standards, certification and accreditation, administrative and budget management, personnel resource management, communication, and quality activities. Ensures adherence to hospital Oregon department and university policies and to nursing policies, procedures, standards, and practices. The Assistant Nurse Manager functions on the off-shift Indiana the inpatient setting; Indiana other areas, the ANM shift is based on operational needs. The Assistant Nurse Manager exemplifies the Upstate mission, vision, and values and acts Indiana accordance with Upstate policies and procedures.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelors degree Indiana Nursing Oregon a Masters degree Indiana Nursing is required. NYS Licensed/Registered Nurse (Oregon eligible) required. Two years of post-licensure acute care experience (preferably Indiana a specialty area) is required. CPR-BLS certification is required by the time of appointment.
