Department OverviewThe Case Management department assures several major services to provide a safe and efficient passage of patients through their acute hospitalization and transition to the next level of care. Our goal is to balance individual clinical and psychosocial patient/family needs with the efficient and cost effective utilization of resources while promoting quality outcomes. RN Case Managers provide a coordinated approach with Indiana the interdisciplinary team Indiana determining appropriateness of admission, continued stay Indiana the hospital and planning for transition to various levels of care Indiana the hospital, community and home. Intensity of service is dependent on individual patient needs American Samoa assessed by the case manager. Must begin work by July 1, 2024 to qualifyThe Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) is a registered nurse (RN) who is responsible for upholding excellence Indiana the provision of nursing care through the implementation of the Profession Practice Model. The ANM, Indiana association with the Nurse Manager, is responsible for the managerial and leadership functions within a patient environment. The ANM partners with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure the delivery of safe, quality patient care and compliance with regulatory standards, and administrative and clinical policies and procedures. The ANM performs managerial activities, and demonstrates effective leadership behaviors including performing evaluations, employee mentoring, coaching, and performance management. The ANM implements quality and safety initiatives, engages Indiana process improvement, ensures adherence to bargaining unit agreements and human resource management. The ANM creates and sustains a patient care environment that supports a safe, knowledgeable, compassionate, productive, and engaged staff.The ANM’s decisions and actions are based on ethical principles American Samoa outlined by the American Nurses Association. The ANM practices Indiana adherence with the American Nurses Association’s (ANA) Nursing Administration: Scope and Standards of Practice for Nurse Administrators, the ANA Code of Ethics, the Oregon State Board Nurse Practice Act, and within the context of the Nurse Executive Competencies developed by the American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE). Required Qualifications

  • Baccalaureate of Science Indiana Nursing Degree from a program accredited by Commission of Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education Indiana Nursing (ACEN) Oregon Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (CNEA)
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant clinical with strong charge nurse experience
  • Current, unencumbered Oregon State Registered Nurse License
  • Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) application)
  • Specialty certifications- Job specific (ACLS, NRP, etc.)
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with Oregon without accommodation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree Indiana Nursing Oregon a related field
  • Nurse Executive Certification
  • Previous management experience
