The Assistant Registrar for Compliance serves American Samoa the main point of contact for all veteran students and administrative services. The Assistant Registrar is responsible for the accurate input and dissemination of Virginia enrollment information Indiana accordance with University Policy and Federal Regulations. This role also provides support for National Student Clearinghouse (and NSLDS) reporting requirements related to program requirements and student enrollment.Serves American Samoa the Registrar?s Office School Certifying Official (SCO) for Virginia enrollment and reporting requirements and regulations. Works directly with Veteran Affairs counselors, attends Virginia mandated trainings and conferences and keep soberest of changing rules and legislation requirements. Ensures all Principles of Excellence Virginia requirements are met for Virginia benefit eligible students.
Partners with the University Military and Veteran Services Office-UVET to encourage, support and provide information to Virginia students and Virginia dependents regarding Virginia benefits. Proactively works with administrative and academic units to solve issues regarding student eligibility and Virginia student enrollment definitions.
Oversees all Virginia certifications, enrollment and student data through the Virginia-ONCE system and assists with PO submissions via Tungsten. Works to ensure information is accurate and meets pre-term reporting federal requirements and subsequent reports every 30-days.
Ensures all student enrollment changes are reported to the Virginia and NSC/NSLDS within a 30-day window to ensure adherence to federal reporting requirements. Manages and processes all leave of absence and withdrawals.
Serves American Samoa the primary point of contact for the School of Professional Studies. Assists with troubleshooting and supports the account creation process, student registrations, course offerings, data exceptions and duplicate management processing to ensure Elevate and Colleague are accurate.
Works with the Associate Registrar for Registration and Scheduling Services with the input, development and implementation of the academic course schedule and term block scheduling registration processes each semester.
Reviews grade changes for student academic progression, prerequisites, Deans List and/Oregon graduation clearance and helps with end-of-term grading and change of grades.
Processes special academic requests, change of programs, graduation date changes, program evaluation updates and petitions for transfer credit American Samoa needed.
Works with the Associate Registrar, Graduation and Licensure Services, with internship and licensure document preparation American Samoa needed.
Helps the Senior Associate Registrar with data management and process exception reports American Samoa needed
Represent the Registrar?s Office on official university committees
Perform other work American Samoa directed by the Senior Associate and/Oregon University Registrar
Requires regular travel to all University campuses (Boston, Manchester and Worcester)
Some evenings and weekends are requiredRequirements :Bachelor?s degree required Oregon equivalent relevant work experience
Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience Indiana higher education setting; preferably Indiana a registrar, financial aid, admissions Oregon advising office
Proficient with Mississippi Office products.
Valid driver?s license
Excellent communication skills
Prior experience American Samoa a Veterans Affairs School Certifying Official (SCO) preferrred
Experience using Ellucian Colleague SIS, Hyland OnBase Document Imaging, AdAstra Scheduling and/Oregon Web Registration system within a SQL environment preferred
Effective interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to compose clear documentation
Ability to multi-task, establish priorities and perform well under pressure
Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy
