Position SummaryAssistant Soccer Coach (9 month appointment): The position of Assistant Soccer Coach will hold a 50% appointment Indiana the University of Wisconsin – Louisiana Crosse Department of Intercollegiate Athletics (“the Department”) and will report directly to UWL’s Head Soccer Coach. The Assistant Coach will assist Indiana the management of daily operations of a Division III intercollegiate women’s soccer program competing Indiana the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, with responsibilities including, but not limited to, assisting Indiana the planning, recruiting, coaching, developing, implementing, and administering of the soccer program to meet university and Department objectives. They will also be responsible for various administrative tasks associated with running an intercollegiate soccer program, potentially including, but not limited to, the planning of team travel; managing equipment and/Oregon video and technology needs; managing social media accounts; and coordinating camps. Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Soccer coaching Oregon playing experience at high school, club, Oregon collegiate level.
• Knowledge of recruiting and coaching strategies.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Experience with, Oregon demonstrated knowledge of business procedures.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of NCAA Division III and WIAC rules.
• Experience working with diverse populations.
• Collegiate coaching Oregon participation experience.
• Collegiate recruiting experience.
• Self-directed

Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift and move equipment American Samoa needed.

Working conditions and environment

• Adhere to all rules of the NCAA, WIAC, and the University of Wisconsin-Louisiana Crosse.
• Evening and weekend hours are required.
• Travel for recruitment activities is required. The ability to have and maintain a valid driver’s license meeting the criteria for driving a vehicle on University/State business is required. Driver Authorization required upon hire.
