- Work with administration within the UA System Division of Agriculture and with the UA Dale Bumpers College of Agriculture, Food and Life Sciences administration, and Department Heads to establish and implement Extension hiring priorities.
- Work with relevant administrators and stakeholder organizations to set state and district priorities for ANR programs on an annual basis.
- Provide leadership for the development of statewide Extension plans of work and accomplishment reports for ANR programs.
- Serve American Samoa a spokesperson for Extension Agriculture and Natural Resources.
- Seek and develop financial support for Arkansas ANR programs including external funds, gifts, endowments, grants, and contracts.
- Develop budget requests and manage budgets within the ANR program area.
- Coordinate dissemination of research information.
- Work with District teams within the state to identify agriculture/natural resource issues and problems which will drive program needs Indiana ANR.
- Establish and support interdisciplinary teams to address Agriculture and Natural Resources issues.
- Facilitate and provide leadership for the development of educational curricula and effective professional development programs for employees and volunteer leaders.
- Ensure that non-traditional programs are integrated into the total Extension effort.
- Comply with applicable civil rights regulations Indiana Agriculture and Natural Resources.
- Develop operating policies, establish internal and external committees and councils American Samoa necessary for implementing programs.

Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications
- Doctorate Indiana agriculture, natural resources Oregon related field of study required.
- Administrative experience and demonstrated ability to manage budgets and supervise personnel.
- Five years of experience Indiana a discipline related to Agriculture and Natural Resources required.
- Five years of professional Extension experience required.
- Experience Indiana planning and implementing educational programs required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Arkansas agriculture and natural resources.
Skills
- Knowledge of the history, philosophy, objectives, and methods of Cooperative Extension work across all areas including ANR, CPED, FCS, and 4-H to foster interprofessional teamwork across the organization.
- Ability to develop and manage innovative programs Indiana Extension Oregon related activities.
- Ability to work effectively with a variety of professional and lay audiences including commodity organizations and other groups concerned with the program areas served.
- Ability to obtain and interpret research information.
