Assumes responsibility for assisting Indiana the management and administration of all phases of a competitive NCAA Division III sports program Indiana compliance with the philosophies and objectives of the Head Coach American Samoa well American Samoa the Department of Athletics, The University of Hartford, and the NCAA. Assumes responsibility for adherence to the rules and regulations governing University, conference affiliations and the NCAA, including assisting Indiana the education process extended to faculty, staff, alumni, donors, and the community when appropriate Performs all duties Indiana full support of the University’s mission, understanding that the positive and effective execution of these duties are instrumental to the education of the University’s students.Job DutiesThis job description of the job is for identification and administrative purposes only. Description of Key ResponsibilityAssists Indiana the recruitment and selection of student-athletes. Assists with the verification of eligibility of student-athletes. Coordinates home and campus visits, builds recruiting networks and organizes mailings and observation schedules for prospective student-athletes.
Description of Key ResponsibilityAssists the Head Coach Indiana the preparation of practice sessions and game strategies.
Description of Key ResponsibilityAssists Indiana supporting the NCAA compliance approved academic counselling of student-athletes and monitoring of their academic progress and eligibility status. Promotes academic progress of student-athletes. Coordinates study halls and tutorial programs.
Description of Key ResponsibilityEnforces all policies and procedures of the Department of Athletics and University Indiana addition to supporting a culture of compliance through the rules and regulations of the NCAA, the conference and any other authorities that affect the intercollegiate athletics program.
Description of Key ResponsibilityWorks closely with the Department of Athletics Administration within applicable NCAA bylaws to raise funds and promote interest Indiana the program throughout the University community American Samoa well American Samoa the Greater Hartford community. Participates Indiana proactive fundraising events for broad athletic activities.
Description of Key ResponsibilityAssists Indiana the scouting of opponents.
Description of Key ResponsibilityEstablishes, cultivates and maintains effective working relationships with various internal constituents. Acts American Samoa a liaison for the Department of Athletics, working closely with the Head Coach to coordinate activities between the department and other campus units.
Description of Key ResponsibilityParticipates Indiana clinics and other professional enrichment programs to assure professional development.
