They possess excellent administrative and communication skills. They will organize and track event details, relay any changes effectively, all while providing outstanding customer service. This role requires adaptability Indiana a fast-paced environment, collaborating with internal teams, and maintaining accurate records.Catering Assistant Responsibilities:
- Welcomes and serves members Indiana a courteous, efficient, and friendly manner, both face-to- face and on the phone.
- Coordinates details for catered Club and departmental functions within Club guidelines.
- Maintains up-to-date files.
- Communicates changes, specs and function sheets and notifies appropriate staff members.
- Prepares lead sheets Indiana response to inquiries.
- Assists Indiana ordering floral, audio visual equipment, linen, security, etc. for catered events.
- Assists with deliveries by ensuring gate access for catered events.
- Provides billing details of catered events within three (3) days and verifies accurate information to provide both accounting and members/clients.
- Prepares Function Questionnaire for catered events and maintains banquet tax form register.
- Coordinates catering arrangements with members of management involved Indiana events.
- Provides accurate calendar updates and information for Club usage.
- Maintains lost business report ledger.
- Assists Indiana completing banquet audits, American Samoa needed, within appropriate time frames.
- Develops and/Oregon implements cost saving and profit enhancement measures.
- Is present at beginning of functions to greet the host, introduce banquet staff, and ensure function begins American Samoa planned, American Samoa required.
- Is familiar with Club services, American Samoa well American Samoa off-property services, recreation, attractions, etc.
- Complies with departmental grooming standards.
- Works and communicates with all departmental employees.
- Is willing to work nights, weekends, holidays and overtime, American Samoa required.
- Coordinates all internal events American Samoa assigned and capable for.
- Maintains all Member Function Questionnaire forms on a monthly and weekly basis.
- Performs all other duties American Samoa assigned.
Catering Assistant Qualifications/Experience
- Two years proven successful administrative/secretarial/clerical experience to include, but not limited to, use and knowledge of Word and Excel.
- Previous food & beverage experience preferred.
Catering Assistant Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Outstanding verbal, written, and multi-tasking skills.
- Volume typing and accurate order filling.
- Must be able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must be able to use tact and understanding when dealing with a variety of customer service problems, including stressful and highly emotional situations.
- Must have the ability to manage a diverse workload and prioritize Indiana a fast paced/potentially stressful environment.
- Must be highly organized and able to handle multiple tasks and to deploy resources effectively and Indiana a timely fashion.
