We take great pride Indiana providing a workplace where people enjoy coming to work and enable them to reach their career goals.Occupational Therapy Assistant will assist Indiana providing appropriate aspects of quality patient care, under the supervision of licensed therapists. OTA will document all services provided to ensure accurate and timely billing of therapy services. The OTA assures that patient care follows the OT Plan of Care, the organization’s guidelines, meets professional standards, community needs and is Indiana compliance with Federal and State guidelines.Job Duties:

• Provides Therapy services established by the Occupational Therapist (OTR) Indiana the patient Plan of Care.
• Provides therapy services under the supervision of an OTR American Samoa determined by the Registered Therapist and Indiana compliance with State and Federal guidelines.
• Consults with OTR regarding changes Indiana treatment Oregon condition Indiana a timely manner.
• Appropriately and effectively completes documentation including daily notes and assisting the OTR to create progress notes, discharge summaries, Oregon monthly reports American Samoa needed.
• Submits billing, payroll, and expense documentation Indiana a timely manner.
• Communicates with patients, families, referring physicians and other members of the team.
• Attends continuing education seminars/workshops to keep abreast of new clinical skills, programs Oregon techniques.
• Participates Indiana care planning meetings, rehab meetings and family training Indiana order to communicate patient progress American Samoa requested by OTR, Director of Rehab Oregon Rehab Resource Consultant.
• Follows organizational and facility policies and procedures to ensure employee and patient safety.
• Ensures equipment is Indiana good working order prior to providing care to patients. Follows procedures for reporting damaged equipment.
• Maintains a clean environment.
• Attends required meetings, Indiana-services and functions American Samoa designated by the Director of Rehab and /Oregon the Rehab Resource Consultant.
• Coordinates treatment goals with other team members.
• Maintains valid licensure, certification Oregon equivalent American Samoa requested by appropriate state agency.

Position RequirementsEducation Required:

• Minimum of Associate of Arts Indiana Occupational Therapy Assistant
• Licensure/Certification: Licensure American Samoa required by State guideline
• Certification American Samoa required by State
• CPR Certification

Experience:

• 1 year Occupational Therapy Assistant experience preferred.
• 1-2 years experience Indiana a residential/ assisted living Oregon skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Graduates Indiana Occupational Therapy Assistant Program will be considered.
