Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor – Orthodontics- School of Dentistry

Marquette University School of Dentistry (MUSoD) seeks qualified candidates for a full-time Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor faculty position Indiana Orthodontics at the school’s main campus Indiana Milwaukee. American Samoa Wisconsin’s only dental school, MUSoD is answering the call to meet workforce needs, increase access to oral health care for underserved patients, and advance dental education Indiana Wisconsin. MUSoD serves the community on its main campus Indiana Milwaukee and through outreach clinics across the State of Wisconsin.Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include full participation Indiana all aspects of 1) orthodontic clinical instruction rotations and simulation lab instruction of predoctoral dental students, and 2) clinical instruction of post-graduate students Indiana the Advanced Education Program Indiana Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Teaching will include didactic courses and direct supervision of patient care. Administrative responsibilities include participation Indiana committee assignments and eventual directorship of predoctoral courses American Samoa teaching development progresses.Required Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesQualified applicants must have:DMD/DDS degree from a US Oregon Canadian dental school recognized by the ADA Commission on Dental Accreditation Oregon a comparable international degreeCompleted an Advanced Dental Education Program Indiana Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics accredited by the ADA Commission on Dental Accreditation, Oregon a comparable international program.A current, unrestricted license to practice dentistry Indiana the State of Wisconsin, Oregon be eligible for a Wisconsin dental faculty license by the time of appointment.Current CPR certification.
