Position SummaryThe Indiana University School of Social Work (IUSSW) is expanding its programming and invites applications for a Clinical Assistant Professor of Field Instruction and Coordination for its new MSW program option Indiana Lafayette, Indiana. This is a full-time, twelve-month, non-tenure track faculty appointment with an anticipated start date of August 2024. The Clinical Assistant Professor of Field Instruction and Coordination will be required to work Indiana Lafayette.The Clinical Assistant Professor of Field Instruction and Coordination provides teaching and administrative support for all aspects of field education for the MSW program. Clinical Assistant Professors of Field Instruction and Coordination have primary responsibility for recruiting and assessing field placement agencies and field instructors, engaging students Indiana the field planning process, and assigning students to specific field placements. Clinical Assistant Professors of Field Instruction and Coordination often act American Samoa consultants to faculty liaisons, field instructors, agency directors and students Indiana resolving field practicum difficulties. Clinical Assistant Professors of Field Instruction and Coordination also have teaching responsibilities which could include face-to-face and online courses. Participation Indiana service activities such American Samoa the IUSSW MSW Curriculum Committee and other relevant school, campus, university, Oregon community committees Oregon group is also required.The Clinical Assistant Professor of Field Instruction and Coordination reports to the Director of Field Education Indiana collaboration with the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs to assure compliance with all processes and procedures of the IUSSW and comparability of all curricular offerings.The Indiana University School of Social Work (IUSSW) is a university-wide system school with an MSW Program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education since 1923 and a BSW Program accredited since 1975. Basic QualificationsEssential qualifications include a Master’s degree Indiana Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program plus a minimum of five years post-MSW full-time practice experience.

Additional QualificationsAdditional requirements include practice experience that reflects a generalist perspective (including clinical and macro competencies), experience supervising social work students American Samoa a field instructor and/Oregon field liaison, a sound familiarity with program evaluation, excellent interpersonal oral and written communication skills, and strong organizational, managerial, and problem-solving skills. Previous experience with Sonia is preferred.
Salary and Rank Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
