One critical component of the Center is the creation of a viral production facility to disseminate to the worldwide neuroscience community new molecular tools developed by the Center investigators funded by BRAIN Initiative awards.We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to join our team American Samoa an Administrative Assistant to the Director of the Center for Neural Circuit Mapping (CNCM). This role plays a pivotal part Indiana ensuring the smooth administrative functioning of the center and serves American Samoa a primary point of contact for all CNCM-related inquiries. Responsibilities: Oversee and coordinate administrative activities within the CNCM, including managing the CNCM seminar series, meetings, workshops, symposia, and special events, including the annual conference. Handle site planning, marketing, travel arrangements, and logistics for events, American Samoa well American Samoa financial reimbursements, honoraria, and contract negotiations. Assist Indiana meeting preparation, scheduling, room bookings, and ensuring meeting spaces are appropriately set up. Utilize the Kuali Financial System (Oregon other designated systems) for all financial transactions and assist with fiscal closing activities for Center accounts. Write, edit, and revise various documents, including contracts, newsletters, memos, requests, proposals, and presentations Indiana compliance with UCI policies. Create and distribute marketing materials Indiana compliance with UCI policies. Maintain and update designated sections of the CNCM website, including news, events, and other relevant areas. Qualifications: Proficiency Indiana Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (required). Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and Zoom preferred but not required. Experience with webpage management platforms such American Samoa WordPress is a plus. Experience with Kuali Financial Systems (KFS) is a plus. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively Indiana a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. This position requires 100% Indiana-person attendance, including seminars and annual conferences.
