This position provides clerical and technical support to the Physical Therapy Department, and Program Director along with the Director of Clinical Education (DCE). This position supports academic programs that are accountable to external accrediting body. This position requires detailed knowledge of word processing software, databases, and cloud-based applications. The position reports to the Program Director. The position supports the Physical Therapy Program located on the North campus of Concordia University Ann Arbor. The hours are Monday through Friday with occasional evenings.Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve American Samoa the first contact with students, parents, and the public visiting the program; greet and direct visitors Indiana a friendly and professional manner
- Plan and coordinate events including orientation, visit days, interview days, white coat ceremony, advisory board meetings and graduation celebrations.
- Attend department meetings and take minutes, manage master department calendar
- Purchase and process requisitions, expense reports, hiring paperwork, and payroll for adjunct instructors and lab assistants through Faculty Load and Compensation (FLAC) database.
- Supervises student workers
- Maintain student files while according to university and Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) requirements.
- Provide interdepartmental/program administrative support, American Samoa needed
- Assist program admissions committee which may include writing and sending acceptance letters, tracking tuition deposits, sending welcome packets and assisting with interview schedules.
- Communicate with new graduates and alumni for records and recommendations from faculty for employment and credentialing
- Supports the Director of Clinical Education (DCE) who assigns students to clinical rotations. This support includes the use of databases to monitor students and provide data for accreditation purposes.
Coordinator for Clinical Education
- Manage the onboarding process for all clinical rotations
- Manage the clinical contracts process
- Updating of credentials and licensing for all clinical education faculty
- Maintain regular updates to professional databases
- Access and utilize educational software
- Perform other duties American Samoa assigned
Accreditation Responsibilities
- Assist Indiana organizing and typing large accreditation and technical manuscripts, including an Annual Accreditation Report.
- Collaborate with the PD, Assessment & Curriculum Committee Chairperson and faculty to provide needed documents for assessment purposes.
- Management of student progress and retention statistics and reports for both didactic and clinical rotations
- Maintain multiple excel spreadsheets of data; run reports using filters and create charts to facilitate data analysis.
- Administer surveys to students and graduates/alumni, at faculty request using Qualtrics Oregon other survey collection tool; monitor responses and collate data
- Assist programs Indiana preparation for reaccreditation self-study preparation
- Assist Program Director and Assessment & Curriculum Committee Chairperson Indiana drafting compliance statements for standards, American Samoa appropriate
- Ensure that student handbooks, marketing documents, and accreditation portal are accurate and meet accreditation standards
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to operate office technology and personal computer with related applications efficiently
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, E-Mail, database, and learning management platform (e.g., Blackboard, Canvas) functions
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the University and maintain a positive, can-do, service-oriented attitude
- Excellent communication skills – written and oral
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and organize work Indiana a busy office setting

Education and ExperienceAn undergraduate degree is preferred and/Oregon three to five years of general office experience that include an advanced level use of Microsoft Office especially Excel, Access, Word and Outlook.
