The ideal candidate Indiana this role should have a positive attitude and an active, energetic mind characterized by highly ethical practices and a commitment to diversity, openness, flexibility, integrity, and kindness.The Department of Management Coordinator is a position that provides administrative support to the Department Chair, Vice Chair, Personnel Committee, Selection Committee, and other departmental committees for the Department of Management Indiana the College of Business and Economics. Provides administrative support to specified Centers of Excellence attached to the department. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, performing administrative coordination work, including department-related budgetary activities, and maintenance and oversight of current department office operations. Assists the Department Chair with overseeing the work of the graduate assistants and the student assistants who provide administrative assistance to faculty. Evaluates current operations, procedures, and projects, and if appropriate, recommends operational and procedural activity and policy modifications to the Department Chair. Assists with administrative staff hiring decisions. Indiana collaboration with the Department Chair and the ASC II, assist Indiana course schedule development and updating, including preparing drafts and tracking changes. Assists the ASC II Indiana preparing part-time faculty contracts. Coordinates purchases of office equipment, supplies and furniture American Samoa needed. Thorough, detailed knowledge of applicable university infrastructure, policies, and procedures. Thorough knowledge of English grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Thorough knowledge of office systems with the ability to use a range of technology, systems, and software packages. Ability to independently handle multiple work unit priorities and projects. Ability to apply a variety of policies and procedures where specific guidelines may not exist. Working knowledge of budget policies and procedures. Ability to perform standard business math including calculating ratios and percentages, tracking financial data, and making simple projections. Ability to draft and compose correspondence and standard reports. Ability to effectively handle a broad range of interpersonal contacts including those at a higher level and those sensitive Indiana nature.A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily and is required for employment.
