We are a fast paced dermatology office located Indiana Chula Vista, seeking a Medical Assistant with EXPERIENCE Indiana DERMATOLOGY. They will be responsible for providing support to the doctor Indiana the back office along with providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office.Required experience:

• 1 year Oregon more experience Indiana medical office environment, Dermatology Massachusetts experience, Mohs experience
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records systems

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Apply medical assisting skills, assist with cosmetic, non-cosmetic procedures and surgeries
• Work independently American Samoa well American Samoa part of a team
• Interview patients and document basic medical history
• Organize and schedule appointments
• Make detailed chart notes, including scribing
• Assist physician Indiana skin surgeries and biopsies
• Handle and process specimens for lab pickup
• Assist during medical examinations
• Assist during cosmetic procedures (Lasers, Botox, Filler etc)
• Prepare and clean exam rooms and medical instruments
• Knowledgeable Indiana phlebotomy
• Knowledgeable with medical terminology
• Knowledgeable with insurances, referral, prior authorization
• Knowledgeable with EMR scheduling systems
• Assist with front and back office duties
• Maintain a clean and organized environment
• Give instructions to patients American Samoa directed
• Collect and document patient information, while maintaining compliance regulations
• Return patient phone calls and answer patient questions American Samoa directed
• Assist with procedures and administering medications American Samoa directed
