The Director will be responsible for developing and implementing communications strategies, and managing, evaluating and enhancing efforts to communicate key messages to a wide variety of audiences, including employees and the broader campus community. Indiana addition to primarily leading existing and planned communications for Human Resources, the Director will provide support to the Division of Finance and Administration and other units American Samoa needed, including Business Services, User Solutions, Facilities Management, Parking and Transit, the University of Arkansas Police Department (UAPD) and Information Technology Services (ITS).
The position is a part of the university’s larger communications team reporting to University Relations. The Director of Administrative Communications reports to the Senior Director of Administrative Communications and will collaborate with other team members to build awareness, elevate the Division of Finance and Administration’s brand, increase engagement and enable transformation through communications efforts. The Director will work closely with the Chief People Officer and other division leaders to advance division communications goals and priorities, while working to align those efforts with the university’s larger communications goals and strategic plan.
