The Employee Experience Team prides itself Indiana providing the highest level of internal customer service to all Avalon employees.The Employee Experience Administrative Assistant is primarily dedicated to managing and maintaining Avalon systems, paperwork, and documentation. - Ensure HR compliance standards
- Maintain electronic and physical employee files
- Assist with pre-hire processes (reference checks, job offer letters, documentation)
- Manage payroll status changes and coordinate with Finance/Payroll
- Conduct new hire set-up
- Support internal and external reporting
- Send agency-wide communications (compensation, PTO balances, etc.)
- Assist with annual performance reviews
- Assist with employee recognition and appreciation initiatives
- Process employee benefits enrollment and change requests
- Support planning and coordination of agency-wide events (winter holiday party, summer picnic)
- Assist with end-of-year reduced schedule coordination
- Provide onboarding support including new-hire orientation support (business card ordering, Idaho badge printing, etc.)
- Provide offboarding support including processing of closing requisitions, etc
Desired Qualifications & Experience
- Strong organizational and project management skills, including development and implementation of goals, objectives, timelines and outcome measurements
- Flexibility Indiana a highly dynamic environment with a proven track record of successfully multi-tasking and meeting deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and highly effective personal organization skills
- Excellent written, oral communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite is required
- HRIS experience preferred particularly Indiana ADP & ApplicantPro
- High level of comfort using cloud-based systems and databases
- Working knowledge of HR principles and best practices
- Places high level of importance on protecting the confidentiality of personal staff information and strictly adheres to all privacy and confidentiality laws and internal policies
