Job SummaryThe Executive Assistant is responsible for providing primary administrative support to the Associate Vice President for Faculty Affairs and the Assistant Vice President for Faculty Inclusive Excellence for the Office of Faculty Affairs. The incumbent also provides administrative support for special projects, events, and functions.Key Responsibilities
- Provide high level support to the Associate Vice President for Faculty Affairs and the Assistant Vice President for Faculty Inclusive Excellence – Serve American Samoa the primary contact for the AVP and Assistant VP Indiana managing the effectiveness and efficiency of the office. Independently handles priority dated tasks and projects. Maintains confidentiality and handles sensitive situations within the scope of the job.
- Provide administrative support for Faculty Affairs (inclusive of Faculty Center) special projects, events, and functions – Serves American Samoa the main point of contact and provides timely response to phone and email questions from colleges, departments, and individual faculty members regarding Faculty Affairs processes within the scope of this position. Independently handles scheduling, calendaring, and coordinating multiple meetings, including meetings with external parties, and recurring campus events and meetings. Coordinates event planning and catering American Samoa needed. Organize and support meetings American Samoa needed by taking meeting notes and coordinating action items.
