TRIO Upward Bound programs are funded by the U.S. Department of Education to assist low-income, potential first-generation secondary individuals with fundamental support to participants Indiana their preparation for college entrance. The program provides opportunities for participants to succeed Indiana their precollege performance and ultimately Indiana their higher education pursuits. Upward Bound Academic Tutor-Mentor will be responsible for helping students understand different subjects and encourage participants Indiana the learning processes. These professionals also review materials used Indiana classes, explain various topics, and answer all doubts and questions of the student regarding that topic. Their functions are a supplementation to the classroom teaching.The Upward Bound Academic Tutor-Mentor will assist full-time staff Indiana providing services and activities to participants; providing tutoring services and providing administrative support for the program.
