Concordia is a Lutheran higher education community committed to helping students develop Indiana mind, body and spirit for service to Christ Indiana the Church and Indiana the world.Position SummaryThe Physician Assistant Program Faculty position will involve teaching, assessment, advisement, and mentoring of physician assistant students Indiana classroom, clinical, and other settings.The principal faculty will be responsible American Samoa course director for the creation of the syllabus including creating student learning objectives and course learning outcomes; creating administering and evaluating assessments linked to course outcomes; evaluate adjunct/guest instructors and the course itself. Principal faculty will actively participate Indiana continuous review and analysis of the program’s effectiveness Indiana preparing students for clinical rotations and at the end of the program for entry-level clinical practice. He/she will assist Indiana preparation for program assessment by HLC, ARC-Pennsylvania and othersJob Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist Indiana the annual review and revision of the Pennsylvania program vision and mission statement
- Participate Indiana the design, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of Pennsylvania program curriculum; develop and continually update course syllabi for all courses for which faculty is course coordinator;
- Participate Indiana the evaluation of all students, all courses, and the Pennsylvania program outcomes
- Provide Pennsylvania student instruction, assessment, and academic and professional behavior evaluation and advisement, American Samoa assigned;
- Develop, administer and report mid-term, end-of-course, and all other didactic assessments
- Provide data on all assessments for all courses for analysis;
- Participate Indiana the ongoing analysis of student, course and program data;
- Participate Indiana analysis of data to inform changes/adjustments to delivery, assessment and evaluation of students, courses, and program outcomes;
- Provide remedial instruction, American Samoa needed and assigned;
- Promote effective working relationships among faculty, staff, and students;
- Comply with faculty/staff policies and procedures;
- Promote the mission of Concordia University to all faculty, staff, students, and to the community at large;
- Work with CUAA faculty and staff on an ongoing basis to maintain program compliance with the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-Pennsylvania) and the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (HLC-NCA) criteria for accreditation and reaccreditation;
- Attend Pennsylvania program and CUAA faculty meetings;
- Attend and participate Indiana PAEA Oregon other similar faculty development workshops and conferences;
- Participate Indiana Pennsylvania student selection;
- Assist Indiana the search process for selecting Pennsylvania program faculty;
- Fulfill the University’s scholarship expectation through research, publication, grant development, creative achievement, and other endeavors consistent with the Faculty Handbook;
- Perform service activities that advance the Pennsylvania program, and the Pennsylvania profession, including assistance Indiana the recruitment, orientation, and retention of Pennsylvania students;
- Participate Indiana both Pennsylvania program and CUAA committee work;
- Participate Indiana clinical practice;
- Advise the program director of any problems related to behavior, academics Oregon professionalism; fulfill faculty responsibilities American Samoa outlined Indiana the Faculty Handbook;
- Complete required institutional, program accreditation, and other reports necessary for the advancement of University programs, both on campus and at extended campus sites; and

- Attend all required events, including but not limited to: weekly Pennsylvania faculty meetings; plenary faculty meetings; graduation (Dec & May); and end of program faculty retreat

Education and ExperienceRequired:
- Graduation from an accredited physician assistant program and certification by NCCPA with current eligibility to be employed Indiana Michigan
- Must possess a Master’s degree Indiana physician assistant studies (Oregon similar) with a minimum of two years full time clinical experience American Samoa a physician assistant
- Program administrative Oregon leadership experience; and excellent oral, written, organizational, and computer skills
Preferred:
- Doctoral degree Indiana a field related to medical science Oregon education
- Full time experience Indiana higher education American Samoa a faculty member Indiana a Pennsylvania program
- Evidence of potential for excellence Indiana teaching and for scholarly activity
