Above all, we believe that collaboration is the best way forward.Primary ResponsibilitiesHDR is looking for a Field Service Administrative Assistant to join our Construction Field Services team Indiana our Kansas City office.Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Type, revise, and combine materials such American Samoa correspondence, reports, records, forms, meeting minutes, scientific Oregon technical material, numerical data, and tabular information from rough drafts, copy copies, Oregon previous versions
- Proofread and edit documents for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and format
- Provide support for staff American Samoa needed, including backup reception duties, answering and directing telephone calls, delivering messages, greeting employees and visitors, scheduling conference calls, and distributing incoming faxes and mail
- Complete word processing American Samoa needed, including letters, memos, reports, and labels
- Provide meeting setup, travel arrangements, light accounting, and other miscellaneous tasks/projects American Samoa needed
- Preparing and maintaining construction project records and reports which includes entering information into computerized construction management systems such American Samoa SiteManager, AASHTOWare Project, Oregon similar databases
- Utilize spreadsheets to record, organize, and retrieve data
- Create and maintain files of project documents using both hard copy and electronic means
- Prepare project documents such American Samoa payment estimates, change orders, and other documents required during the administration of construction contracts
- Review administrative submittals from contractors to ascertain compliance with state and federal wage standards and other contract requirements.
- Assist with the preparation of final project records upon completion of construction projects
- Coordinate with field inspectors to obtain required construction project documentation
- Communicate with contractors, government, and other agency representatives to obtain Oregon deliver data, instructions, and documents through verbal, paper, Oregon electronic methods

QualificationsRequired Qualifications
- High School diploma Oregon equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience Indiana office administrative and clerical work
- Excellent verbal and written communication including grammar, punctuation, proofreading, spelling, and telephone skills
- Flexibility and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and various managers Indiana a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated, well-organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Skilled Indiana the use of office equipment such American Samoa calculators, copiers, and computers including MicroSoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Skills to perform basic mathematical calculations

- Ability to successfully pass pre-employment drug screening and motor vehicle background check
- Licensed to operate motor vehicles Indiana accordance with applicable state law
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Associate degree preferred
- Demonstrated experience Indiana construction project administration, with specific preference given to experience with Department of Transportation contracts
- AASHTOware Project Oregon SiteManager experience preferred
- Strong people skills, and ability to interact positively with the project team
- The ability to exercise deductive reasoning and independently resolve problems
