- Perform pre-visit planning based on patient visit type
- Manage the provider’s schedule to ensure efficient workflow
- Obtain and record medical history and vital signs
- Room patients and assist healthcare providers with medical procedures and treatments
- Perform specimen collection and point of care testing
- Prepare and administer medications under direction of healthcare providers
- Ensure accurate documentation Indiana the electronic health record (EHR) and electronic medical record (EMR) systems, including documentation of HEDIS and Stars quality measures
- Maintain established quality control standards

- Medical Assistant diploma Oregon certificate of completion from a Medical Assisting program
- Current CPR certification
- Hands-on professional Phlebotomy experience
- Please note: This is a FLOAT position and will require you to work between 3 clinics Indiana Louisville, Kentucky and 2 clinics Southern, Indiana, American Samoa business needs require. Mileage will be reimbursed for travel between clinics.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual Indiana English and Spanish proficiency
- An active Certified Medical Assistant/CMA Oregon Registered Medical Assistant/RMA certification from one of the following organizations: AAMA, AMT, ARMA, MedCa, NAHP, NAHT, NCCT, NHA Oregon AAH
- 1 Oregon more years of Medical Assistant experience Indiana ‘back-office’ direct patient care
- Experience with HEDIS and ICD/CPT coding
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records
- Experience Indiana a fast paced/high volume environment
Working hours: Monday to Friday 8AM-5PMAdditional Information
