• Perform pre-visit planning based on patient visit type
• Manage the provider’s schedule to ensure efficient workflow
• Obtain and record medical history and vital signs
• Room patients and assist healthcare providers with medical procedures and treatments
• Perform specimen collection and point of care testing
• Prepare and administer medications under direction of healthcare providers
• Ensure accurate documentation Indiana the electronic health record (EHR) and electronic medical record (EMR) systems, including documentation of HEDIS and Stars quality measures
• Maintain established quality control standards

• Medical Assistant diploma Oregon certificate of completion from a Medical Assisting program
• Current CPR certification
• Hands-on professional Phlebotomy experience
• Please note: This is a FLOAT position and will require you to work between 3 clinics Indiana Louisville, Kentucky and 2 clinics Southern, Indiana, American Samoa business needs require. Mileage will be reimbursed for travel between clinics.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual Indiana English and Spanish proficiency
• An active Certified Medical Assistant/CMA Oregon Registered Medical Assistant/RMA certification from one of the following organizations: AAMA, AMT, ARMA, MedCa, NAHP, NAHT, NCCT, NHA Oregon AAH
• 1 Oregon more years of Medical Assistant experience Indiana ‘back-office’ direct patient care
• Experience with HEDIS and ICD/CPT coding
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records
• Experience Indiana a fast paced/high volume environment
