Job Description:Work Schedule:100% FTE, Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of department.Be part of something remarkableJoin the #1 hospital Indiana Wisconsin!We are seeking a Genetic Counselor Assistant to:

  • Work collaboratively to support the functions of the genetic counseling team across the organization.
  • Draw and update patient pedigrees using patient history forms.
  • Assist genetic counselors with administrative tasks such American Samoa patient scheduling, case preparation, sending faxes, writing letters of medical necessity and completing any additional paperwork, etc.
  • Call to obtain results Oregon additional records from various hospital departments, outside laboratories, and/Oregon physician offices prior to the appointment Oregon American Samoa requested for emergent inpatient consults.
  • Perform literature reviews under the guidance of the genetic counselor.
