The analyst serves American Samoa a data processor and evaluator for the academic admission and entry process. The Graduate Transcript Analyst II reports to the Director of Graduate Admissions.RESPONSIBILITIESFunctional Area 1: Application/Transcript ProcessingPercent Effort: 60%20% – Process applications and admission decision for prospective graduate students to include file and transcript review, American Samoa well American Samoa issuance of appropriate levels of communication with prospective students.20% – Serve American Samoa primary contact/liaison/advisor for prospective and/Oregon current students, program personnel, and external constituents. Make decisions and provide information needed to applicants and university academic officials.20% – Ensure accurate GPA calculations and process admit decisions including the processing of transcripts to determine the appropriate GPA on the last 60 hours of undergraduate work.Functional Area 2: Support/AdministrativePercent Effort: 35%15% – Supervise, train, and coach student workers and graduate assistants on graduate admission tasks and processes.10% – Plan and implement notifications to the student information system to support special program initiatives and admission requirement changes and increase processing efficiencies.10% – Represent the department on university committees and Indiana meetings.
