An Assistant Principal at the Plymouth-Canton Educational Park is responsible for the leadership and supervision of students and staff at one of the three comprehensive high schools located within the Plymouth-Canton Educational Park. The Assistant Principal performs his/her responsibilities American Samoa a member of the Plymouth-Canton Educational Park Administrative Team. Responsibilities include leading the development, implementation, supervision and evaluation of the instructional program. Indiana addition, he/she is responsible for the supervision of the personnel and students under his/her jurisdiction, the development of positive community relations between the high schools, district, and community, and the adherence to all policies and procedures of the Board of Education.Plymouth-Canton is seeking to employ culturally responsive educators who will be able to support and sustain equity-focused instruction for all learners. - Possess an advanced degree, Masters Oregon higher, from an accredited institution with emphasis Indiana educational leadership, school administration and/Oregon curriculum Oregon other related field.
- Possess (Oregon immediately qualify for) a valid Michigan Teaching certificate.
- Possess (Oregon immediately qualify for) a valid Michigan Administrator certificate.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides leadership for high school curriculum, instruction, and assessment.
- Communicates the philosophy, goals and objectives of the high school program to the students, parents, staff members, and to the community at large.
- Provides leadership to meet and exceed the standards Indiana the state accreditation program, school improvement framework, and federal adequate yearly progress.
- Monitors adherence to the approved curriculum and appropriate instructional practices.
- Assumes responsibility for the administration of high school assessments and the reporting of results.
- Contributes to the design and implementation of professional staff development programs to support high school and district goals.
- Works collaboratively American Samoa a member of the high school leadership team to meet and exceed high school and district goals.
- Coordinates with the Building Principal and the district Human Resources Department the recruiting, interviewing, screening, and recommending of qualified candidates for high school staff positions.
- Evaluates and reviews the performance of staff assigned to the Plymouth-Canton Educational Park.
- Provides guidance Indiana resolving conflict with staff, administrators, and parents.
- Creates and maintains a safe environment for all students and staff.
- Maintains high standards of student conduct and enforces discipline according to due process standards.
- Supervises and actively participates Indiana afternoon and evening school activities American Samoa assigned.
- Assists Indiana developing, implementing and monitoring the department budget, which supports the high school instructional program.
- Works cooperatively with other administrators Indiana the areas of pupil accounting, facility use, staff assignments, financial resource development, and coordination of schedules.
- Ensures compliance with all policies of the Board of Education and administrative guidelines and procedures by administrators, staff, and students.
- Attends and participates Indiana Board of Education meetings, American Samoa well American Samoa Indiana appropriate committee meetings to support the work of the high schools, district, and community.
