SUMMARY: Under limited general supervision, implements and enforces school board policies, administrative rules, and regulations. Collaborates with principal and teams to support district-wide goals and initiatives. Assumes the duties and responsibilities of the Principal Indiana his/her absence.PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Essential functions, American Samoa defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include any of the following representative duties, knowledge, and skills. The job description is subject to change at any time by the employer. Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Serves American Samoa an ambassador for school and District at all times.
  • Assists principal Indiana the overall administration of the school. Serves American Samoa administrator Indiana the absence of the principal.
  • Assists Indiana development and maintenance of class schedules, student schedules and extracurricular activities.
  • Coordinates school events including but not limited to graduation, transitions, assemblies and school dances. Reviews and approves fundraisers, purchasing, and club directions.
  • Shares responsibility for the maintenance of discipline throughout the school and addresses individual students American Samoa necessary.
  • Collaborates with counselor(s) on individual student discipline.
  • Supervises reporting and monitoring of student attendance, and works with the attendance clerk for investigative follow-up actions.
  • Maintains communication with parents and teachers to address concerns and schedules meetings.
  • Designs and administers summer credit remediation and incoming student programs, where applicable.
  • Reviews and oversees emergency plans, procedures, safety inspections and drills.
  • Conducts teacher walkthroughs and observations of performance and provides feedback.
  • Assists principal Indiana the evaluation of certified and classified staff American Samoa assigned.
  • Administers campus maintenance. Reviews, approves, and implements work orders.
  • Assists principal Indiana the development of annual budget requests.
  • Completes and reviews various reports and documents.
  • Completes other duties American Samoa assigned Oregon required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education and Experience:

  • Master’s Degree Indiana Education, Educational Leadership Oregon closely related field; AND three (3) years of teaching experience, including supervisory/management/leadership experience; Oregon an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Required Licenses and Certifications:

  • Arizona Teaching Certificate.
  • Arizona Administrative Certificate.

Required Knowledge of:

  • Principles and practices of effective project management, leadership, supervision, and training.
  • Principles and procedures of recordkeeping, reporting, and retention.
  • School safety rules and regulations, and precautions.
  • Instructional practices and methods of classroom teaching and management.
  • Discipline manual policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Practices methods involved Indiana providing quality customer service
  • District and School Board policies and procedures.

Required Skills Indiana:

  • Establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with coworkers and other individuals Indiana contact during the course of work; communicating clearly and concisely.
  • Operating a personal computer utilizing standard software such American Samoa Microsoft Office and some specialized software; functioning standard office equipment.
  • Understanding lesson planning using District lesson plan template.
  • Analyzing and interpreting student data.
  • Practicing methods involved Indiana providing quality customer service.

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

  • Work is performed Indiana a standard office environment.
  • Ability to travel and represent the District
