Location: Louisville, KentuckyPosition Type: Human Resources Administrative Assistant IIAbout this opportunity:Performs a variety of human resources administrative work supporting the Human Resources processes for Louisville Area Command, including maintaining personnel files, I9s, OSHA logs, and FMLA; scanning records, filing documents, job postings, scheduling interviews, etc.; answering the telephone and providing general information regarding department operations and services; and conducting background checks and MVR.Key responsibilities:
- Posts jobs and reviews resumes. Refers qualified candidates to managers; completes background checks.
- Reviews, files, and maintains employee personnel files and I-9 binders.
- Safeguards the security and confidentiality of personal/private information on employees except where duty requires communication with human resources management and respective management by The Salvation Army policy and governmental laws and regulations.
What we are looking for Indiana you:
- Associate degree Indiana human resources Oregon business Oregon related field.
And
- Three (3) years of experience performing human resources and administrative work, including payroll, Recruiting, and HR report preparation.
- Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:Work requires the ability to lift carry and push/pull light (less than 25 lbs.) materials, supplies, and equipment.
