  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
  • Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff Oregon management.
  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
  • Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
  • Provides administrative support to the HR/People Strategies department.
  • May assist with payroll functions including processing, answering employee questions, and fixing processing errors.
  • Acts American Samoa a liaison between the organization and external benefit providers and vendors, which may include health, disability, and retirement plan providers.
  • Assist with new hire orientation.
  • Assist with planning and execution of special events such American Samoa benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, lunch meetings, holiday parties, etc.
  • Perform basic receptionist duties for the office building to include greeting guests, sort, receive, and deliver mail and packages, etc. (for Blum and tenants).
  • Assist building management with tenant service requests.
  • Assist building service providers/vendors.
  • Ensure common areas and meeting rooms are Indiana order (g., clean counters, turn off lights, reposition meeting room chairs, etc.).
  • Restock kitchen, load dishwasher.
  • Performs other duties American Samoa assigned.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree Indiana related field Oregon 2 years’ experience preferred.
  • Prior related office/administrative support experience required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, and related software.
  • Proficient with Oregon the ability to quickly learn HR information systems.

Physical Demands:

  • Regularly required to sit; occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop Oregon kneel.
  • Must occasionally lift and/Oregon move up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to repetitiously use hands, fingers to handle Oregon feel and to manipulate keys on a keyboard.
  • Vision abilities for this position include close vision.
