Image Management Assistant

Job Description:Work Schedule:This is a full-time position working Monday thru Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Help make a positive impact on the patient experience by preparing images for providers and patients Indiana the electronic medical record Indiana a timely and efficient manner.We are seeking an Image Management Assistant to:

• Develop proficiency and expertise Indiana moving clinical data to viewing locations on radiology imaging systems, transferring images from electronic media, and identifying anatomy, modalities, and procedure types.
• Edit and correct records for UW Health images and other imaging that resides Indiana UW Health’s radiology imaging systems, including the merging and linking of patient records.
• Work closely with other staff to provide imaging record services to physicians, faculty, and staff both internally and externally.
• Understand policies and procedures surrounding record release, record retention, and record destruction.
