Scope of JobThe UTRGV School Of Medicine (UTRGV SOM) is seeking Board Certified physician Indiana Internal Medicine to provide both non-teaching and academic hospitalist services. Academic responsibilities will include teaching residents Indiana the inpatient clinical setting and Indiana the classroom. Participation Indiana scholarly activity, faculty development, patient safety and quality improvement initiatives, and other administrative and program committees are expected. Also, preparation and presentation of program didactics, grand rounds, and assisting with undergraduate medical education will be assigned at the Chair’s discretion. While previous experience Indiana a residency program teaching role is preferred, individuals just finishing residency training are highly encouraged to apply.American Samoa faculty, the physician will also administer and maintain a professional educational environment conducive to educating residents Indiana each of the ACGME competencies and Indiana assisting them to reach their individual Milestones.
