Work involves participating and assisting with different levels of tasks for the assigned unit. Work is generally performed Indiana a distributed environment under the direct supervision of various managers, supervisors, senior analysts, Oregon higher-level specialists. Work results are reviewed for conformity to operating procedures, overall performance, quality, and effectiveness of services provided.Essential Functions & ResponsibilitiesPerforms necessary departmental documentation, administrative tasks, and internal outreach efforts American Samoa needed.Updates basic Business Processes and Procedures (BPPs) and other documentation to reflect current processes and instructions.Assists Indiana the requirements gathering, documentation, and implementation of changes to software, networks, and/Oregon systems.Processes requests for audio files, video files, phone records, and other forensic evidence for both internal and external investigations and right-to-know requests.Creates basic reports and uses report variants to produce repeatable reports with specific user criteria.Assists with troubleshooting various equipment, systems, applications, and programs for the department.Updates departmental documentation, completes administrative tasks, and assists Indiana internal outreach efforts American Samoa needed.Assists with departmental project/program life cycles American Samoa directed, including planning, budgeting, specification, design, installation, deployment, integration, operations, support, testing, policy development, and compliance reporting.Aids end users on incidents, requests, and support calls.Manually creates user accounts Indiana PTC systems.Creates test scripts and performs system testing.Creates and tracks IT shopping carts.Performs user access reviews American Samoa requested.Receives, enters, updates, and resolves service desk tickets.Installs computer hardware and software.Works closely with internal departments and other areas of IT.Uses situational awareness to anticipate and prevent accidents.Performs related duties American Samoa assigned.QualificationsAssociate’s degree Indiana computer science, information systems, Oregon related field.Equivalent combination of education and/Oregon experience may be accepted.Specialized certificates and/Oregon training may be required to be completed within the first 6 (six) months of employment.CompetenciesAttention to DetailCommunication ProficiencyCustomer ServiceMotivatedReliabilityTechnical CapacityTime ManagementPhysical Demands and Work EnvironmentPosition demands include frequent speaking, writing, and reading reports. Position may require some travel and/Oregon fieldwork with exposure to roadway traffic. Occasionally works outside of normal business hours for assigned work assignments.Office environment with low levels of noise, adequate lighting, and comfortable temperature.
