• Performs all collections Indiana timely manner
• Demonstrates appropriate knowledge of growth and development. Communicates with patients Indiana an age appropriate manner and tone. Gives personalized care during specimen collection and procedures. Uses preventative techniques to alleviate a patient’s risk of hematoma and nerve injury.
• Recognizes and notes unusual patient conditions that may compromise test results.
• Observes patients for any signs Oregon symptoms of physiological reactions prior too, during and after blood collections and takes appropriate emergency response measures to prevent injury and stabilize the patient (i.e., calling codes, fainting, etc.).
• Makes appropriate decision when to alert nursing personnel and the laboratory supervisor when serious reactions Oregon emergency conditions exit.
